QUALIFICATIONS AND ELIGIBILITY: The student must have passed the higher secondary examination or the Indian school certificate Examination which is equivalent to 10+2 Higher Secondary Examinations after a period of 12 years of study, the last two years of study comprising of Physics, Chemistry and Biology. The student must have obtained a minimum of 50% marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry and Biology at the qualifying exam. (40% in case of OBC, SC and ST candidates). He/She should have completed 17 years of age on or before 31st December of the year of admission to Ukrainian Medical Universities.

RECOGNITION OF DEGREE: The listed University degrees are globally recognized worldwide. They are recognized by the General Medical Council UK., World Health Organization, American Medical Association USA, Medical Council of India, UNESCO and so on. The Medical Council of India recognizes only the courses offered by those Medical institutions which are listed by the WHO (World Health Organization) in the World directory of medical schools. Note should also be made that many Indian private medical colleges are still not recognized by the MCl. Indian students seeking admission in medical courses in all country through R.R. overseas will be admitted only in those Universities whose degrees are recognized by WHO and the Medical Council of India.

DURATION OF THE COURSE : The duration of the medical course will be for a total period of 6 years. All courses are taught in English medium during the whole period of study.

SCREENING TEST : As per the screening test regulation act 2002, of the Medical Council of India, an Indian citizen possessing a primarY medical qualification awarded by any medical institution outside India who is desirous of getting provisional or permanent registration with the Medical Council of India or any State Medical Council on or after 15.03.2002 shall have to qualify a screening test conducted by the prescribed authority for that purpose as per the provisions of section 13 of the Act. Once the student successfully completes his Medical course and obtains the Medical degree from Abroad he/she is expected to appear and PASS the screening test conducted by the National Board of Exams on behalf of the Medical Council of India. The tests are conducted twice a year.
